Load Analysis

The question is frequently asked, “what do I do with all of this AMI data?” The Load Analysis screen displays loads between two system devices such as switches. The historical AMI readings are rolled up to their corresponding distribution transformers. The transformers are associated with line sections which are between switches, reclosers, capacitors and other common system components. Where in the past engineers and operators would take an educated guess at how much load is on a section of feeder, they will now have accurate information for permanent or temporary system reconfigurations.
