GRIDrecords

GRIDmaster product suite integrates information from various data sources such as the GIS, OMS, MDMS and the SCADA system. This includes slow changing asset information, more dynamic interval meter readings, as well as real-time information such as measurements obtained using a SCADA system. All this information can be combined to obtain the system status at any given moment in history using GRIDfast based calculations. The calculated values include active and reactive power flows in all the system components, and voltages at various locations. The calculated values may also include estimated loads at various locations in the system. GRIDrecords is the data storage system that archives, and maintains this information. It also provides snapshots of this system information.

GRIDrecords consists of the following functionalities:

• Provide data storage and archiving for the data obtained from other systems and/or calculated from such data.
• Provide an API to access and manipulate this data.

The data obtained from GRIDrecords is used by GRIDplan and GRIDops products to perform various analysis and optimizations. The information may also be used by third party planning and operation products.
